In response to a surge in cases in Quebec, as of October 21, a new set of restrictions are in place (originally for 28 days but it has been extended) for Montreal, Quebec City, and Chaudiere-Appalaches.
In those three regions, people are prohibited from inviting others to their homes, private gatherings are prohibited, and social gatherings in public places are prohibited.
Outside of the above noted 3 regions, there is a limit of 10 people gathering indoors at one time. The limit is 50 people outdoors.
Whether it is indoors or outdoors if some of those people are from another household, social distancing must be maintained with those people (those from another household).
