In Nova Scotia, there is a limit of 10 people
gathering at your house indoors or outdoors with no social distancing (this includes the household members who are at home when the gathering occurs). Gathering with more than 10 means you must follow social distancing guidelines (stay 2 metres apart).
For clarity this means:
- If your household has 5 members, and they are all going to be home when you have visitors over, you can have 5 visitors. If your household has 5 members, but only 3 will be home when you have visitors over, you can have 7 visitors. The total number of visitors plus members of your household who are home when the visitors arrive, cannot be more than 10.
It's not easy, and everyone misses being able to gather/party with friends with no restrictions, but if the restrictions are not followed now we won't stop the spread. Do your part and be responsible, which in New Brunswick means limit your gathering/party to a total of no more than 10 people (visitors + members of your household who are home).
