Read the launch press release here.
Partyresponsibly.ca was the first (and to this day is the only) national platform dedicated to help stop the spread of COVID-19 by raising awareness of responsible social gathering/ partying behavior among young adults 19+ while social gathering restrictions are in place.
As well, Partyresponsibly.ca has since it's launch strongly advocated for federal and provincial governments to:
- Shift from their "shame and blame" and "stop gathering" messaging (which continues to not resonate with young adults), to "if you are going to gather/party, do it responsibly" and educating them on how they can do that.
- In addition to a shift in messaging, implement new initiatives specifically targeting young adults to help stop the spread of COVID-19 (since the data continues to show that there are more cases with this group than any other).
